At Perle Mont Schools, we encourage hands on approach to learning. This approach enables children to develop their observation skill through activities that make use of the five (5) senses - Kinetic movement - Spatial refinement - Small and gross motor skill coordination and - Concrete knowledge that leads to later abstraction. Perle Mont Schools teachers serve as mentors so that students feel they have a voice. Teachers mentor by being helpful, approachable and encouraging students all the way. Character development and good behavior is integrated into learning curriculum. Perle Mont Schools help children birth their dreams by developing the creative and thinking skills of children as an essential factor for success in learning for now and the future. Therefore, we ensure effective teaching methods with the aid of modern teaching materials and learning facilities.

Our Director
Mrs Mary Iyabo Oakhena is the CEO and Director of studies. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Career Guidance and Counseling (2012) and Masters degree in the faculty of Education in Guidance and Counseling (2014) and a Montessori Diploma for 0-6 years. -

We offer a high level care in our preschool, it is not just a day care. Whereas, day care is often childcare without an emphasis on learning, our preschool is designed to offer the child the first formal learning environment. Our focus therefore is on cognitive and social development by stimulating the child's curiosity and imagination. Our children learn through sharing toys, taking turns, and interacting with their teachers and each other.
The classrooms themselves are very lively, brightly decorated with posters of the alphabet, maps, number tables and the children's artwork. Our preschool classrooms are interactive and stimulating to foster an exciting learning environment. We are also very conscious of the Teacher-pupil ratio, thus we monitor this for close interactions.NURSERY
Perle Mont Schools offers a nursery education for ages 2-4 years. Recognizing that this age bracket is a very crucial period in the life of every child, and the fact that the child's nursery education plays an important role in the mental and social development of the child, we have designed a curriculum that offers a strong basic foundation that aids them to learn, explore and acquire skills needed to build upon, for their subsequent higher levels of educational pursuit.
We use interactive whiteboard through the nursery classrooms. Our nursery program aids our children to appreciate learning while building more confidence in interacting with other kids. Through our educative program we assist our nursery children to acquire:- Language development

- Counting skills
- Recognition skills
- Reading skills
- Writing skills
- Moral skills
We also provide them with puzzle games that stimulate brain development and critical thinking. Play facilities appropriate for their age are also provided for their physical development. The classrooms are conducive for learning and facilities are very child friendly. At age three (3), our nursery children achieve reading and by age four (4), our children read fluently before moving on to primary one (1).
PRIMARY
Our primary school curriculum has been designed to provide a broad learning experience and encourages a rich variety of approaches to teaching and learning that take care of the different needs of individual children. Our primary broad based curriculum also aims to nurture the child in all dimensions of his or her life- moral, spiritual cognitive, emotional, imaginative, social and physical being.
